US Avant-sludge punkers Heavy Baby Sea just released the “Teenage Graveyard Party” EP, a sum of four tracks with influences from several bands. This EP sounds like the early era of the White Zombie is jamming with Venom and Misifits. Pure heavy sound with sludge vocals and a sick atmosphere that travels you to the landscapes of the Rob Zombie movies. The Punk elements are obvious as a type of music behavior than as a music genre. There is some kind of irony when the singer sings the lyrics, which reminds me of the way that UK Punk bands used their vocal style as political reaction against the mainstream society.
