Owl Company – Horizon (Self Financed)

Owl Company is a band from São Paulo, Brazil which just just released a new album called “Horizon”. The album contains 10 powerful tracks with influences from the Stoner/Sludge scene of the US region, in other words it is raw rock n roll with much distortion. In general, this is an album with good production, catchy guitar riffs and an “in your face” attitude. Do not not expect nothing more than pure energy and bombastic riffs. Compared to the competition and the other bands out there, I would say that this band focuses on the value of the composition than the guitar tone or the pedal effects. I guess, that nowadays it is more important to enhance the songwriting skills because in a long term period when another genre will rise, only the great compositions will remain in the mind of the fans.
