New Music Alliance Radio Hour to premiere new song from “The Pearmain Recordings”
New Haven, CT – Flowerland, a band recognized for their loud guitars and powerful drums in the 90s, is releasing “Green Rivers,” the latest single from “The Pearmain Recordings.” This track marks a shift from their typical style and reveals a different side of the group. While not exactly a ballad, “Green Rivers” is a moody, psychedelic song with thoughtful lyrics. The track highlights Roger Guimond’s vocals and harmonies.
The “Green Rivers” lyric video will premiere along side the New Music Alliance Radio Hour premiere of “Green Rivers” on April 30th at 6pm on WXOJ Northampton, MA – valleyfreeradio.org and WMNB North Adams, MA.

“Green Rivers” was written in 1992 in New Haven, CT. Bassist Jef St. George brought the lyrics and bass line to the band, which soon completed the song. Although the song was only played live 4 or 5 times, it was a fan favorite.
“The Pearmain Recordings” was mixed by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Screaming Trees) and is released by Mindsnap Music distributed by Von Artists.
