Faruk Cobain – Truth Hurts (Track Review)

It is not Kurt, but Faruk Cobain! A musician with a totally different music style and attitude towards music. The music of Faruk is mainly electronic with a dance direction and hip-hop inspired vocals, however, in the background, the electric guitar sounds are “visible” and paint the musical picture with vivid, classic rock colours. Regarding musical influences, the music style is close to the groovy moments of Linkin Park, while the rock guitars have an experimental vibe in the style of Robert Fripp (King Crimson). The audio production is modern, and the mix is also pretty clear, although I would prefer to hear the guitars a little higher in the mix because the percussion overlaps the available space. However, I can understand that this choice in the mix could be a decision related to the desirable aesthetics or atmosphere of the track rather than a technical issue. If you like dance music with an additional rock attitude, the track is worth listening to.
