1.First of all, tell me the history of “BULLETHOLE”

We were formed in late 1999 by Andreas and me. When we completed our line up we had some shows and after a while we recorded a demo cd called “Hollow” as Human Decay. After a while Leyteris joined the band and I…joined the army. It was at this time we recorded a 4-track promo-cd entitled “Moment of Hate” and after few months we signed to Black Lotus Recs. and now we have our debut out!

2.Tell me some details for your debut album

It was recorded during 2002 at Studio 5, mixed in February at Praxis Studios and mastered at Athens Mastering. The cover and the whole layout was created by Set<H’>
 

3.Is there any feedback from the audience about this cd until now?

Well by now all we get from press or the fans is very encouraging. It seems that almost everyone finds it at least interesting, not to mention those who are excited with the album which is an awesome feeling!

4.Which is the procedure when you write the songs?

It’s usually Antreas who comes with a bunch of riffs and we work them together until we get what we want. Then I always have lyrics we match them and then we rehearse the song and leave Leyteris put his touch on it.

5.Is “INCARCERATION” a concept album, and if it yes tell me the story otherwise tell me what the lyrics are saying

You can’t exactly say that it is a concept album although all the songs are talking about the times when you can’t no longer stand the pressure upon you and you let your rage free cause every song is written under different conditions.

6.Have you already played any gig, and tell me your favourite live

We had many shows through these years of existence but definitely our best till now was supporting Stampin’ Ground here in Athens! It was a fantastic experience as it also was when we supported Snapcase too!

7.Your influences from the metal scene?

You know all the classic thrash stuff Slayer, Sepultura and lots of others. And there’s always the hardcore stuff. Bands like Hatebreed and Stampin’ Ground etc.

8.Tell me you favorite album and your favorite band

Personally speaking I’d say “Reign In Blood” but everyone n the band has different favourite albums so I can’t tell…

9.Where are you from?

We are all from Athens, Greece.

10.Tell me your opinion about the metal scene in your country

It’s getting better day by day. Many new bands play way better nowadays, working harder and that’s good for all of us. Of course thre are all these great bands Like Septic Flesh or Rotting Christ but they are not in the same point we are of course!

11.What are your plans in the future for the band?

Not many…Antreas and Leyteris will be joining the army in few days so we will only be able to write the new songs for the next album in the next year!
 

12.Is metal a way of your life?

Sure! We’re all into metal the past 10-12 years, you know we kinda grew up with that and determines our lives in a way!

13.How you describe your music?

That’s difficult! I’d say it’s just us, Bullethole! A new thrash metal band with a touch of hardcore? Somethin’ like that!
