Samuel James – Serves You
The track opens with a combination of electronic elements and hard rock vibes, with the vocals slowly building to an industrial metal crescendo. As the song progresses, the tension builds, accompanied by a feeling of chaos as the instrumentation becomes heavier. At around the one-minute mark, everything suddenly slows down, the track pausing before moving into an indie pop vibe and slowly returning to its heavier form. At around the 2:38 mark, some very cool guitar riffs emerge, adding another strong element to the arrangement. At 2:55, the song once again touches on its indie pop side before moving into industrial ground. This time, however, dreamy synths enter the mix and carry the track through to the end, providing an atmospheric contrast to the heavier sections. The constant movement between industrial metal, hard rock, electronic and indie pop elements gives ‘Serves You’ an unpredictable structure, keeping the song interesting right until the end.
