DESU TAEM – Shark Racers

The track kicks off with some screams at around the 0:20 mark, giving it a slightly disturbing edge which reminds me a little of Disturbed. The overall approach is aggressive with clear influences from the early 2000s, while around 0:50, elements bring the ’90s to mind. These different touches work surprisingly well together without overshadowing the track’s main character. There’s a lot of energy here and the song sounds like it was made with incredible enthusiasm. It’s powerful but enjoyable, with aggressive vocals and a heavy approach that keeps the track moving. Rather than trying to be overly complicated, Shark Racers relies on its energy, attitude, and straightforward style, making it an easy and entertaining listen. Another interesting feature is how the track balances its heavier moments with a sense of fun. The aggression never becomes too serious or overwhelming; there’s a playful quality beneath the distortion and loud vocals. This gives Shark Racers a vivid character, making the short, punchy arrangement feel spontaneous rather than overly calculated.
