Paris Music Corp. – Wetlands

John Andrew Paris, an electronic composer living in Texas, goes by the alias Paris Music Corp. Paris, originally from Austin, has spent decades honing his sound and collaborating with a wide range of artists, including Arthur Brown (of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and the hit single “Fire”), DJ Rev Kathy Russell, DJ Lucas Ray, Catastrophe Ballet, Le Reve, Life’s Eyes, Beast of Eden, OBOYO, and Don Wigwam. “Wetlands” begins with a soft beat and ethereal synths, creating a strange electronica atmosphere. This composition combines psychedelic sounds reminiscent of The Future Sound of London with the warm, ethereal atmosphere of 1990s chill-out rooms. The music begins with a smooth, dreamy flow that takes the listener into a euphoric state filled with moving pads and gentle rhythmic vibrations. The video fits the music with an abstract, pixelated visual style that recalls vintage ’90s computer aesthetics, emphasizing the track’s bizarre and retro-futuristic mood. If you’re in the mood for a bizarre, synth-driven atmosphere, “Wetlands” is a relaxing, deep journey into an innovative electronic universe. What really defines “Wetlands” is its willingness to evolve softly without breaking its trance-like mood. Layers of synths rise and fall like changing fog, but soft rhythmic cycles keep the song rooted. Paris shows a polished sense of atmosphere, allowing each musical element to circulate and expand. The end result is a song that feels cinematic, ideal for late-night listening, creative work sessions, or simply allowing your mind to relax into another world.
