Every Sunday – Where do I go

Every Sunday’s “Where Do I Go” maintains a delicate balance between melodic rock and pop/rock vibes, starting with beautiful guitar lines and progressing to an interesting vocal duet. The male vocalist’s entrance creates a soft, warm vibe, which is shortly followed by a male/female duet that adds dimension and depth to the overall composition. One of the track’s most effective components is the interaction between the singers. The music has a hidden variation in tone that recalls Nick Cave’s darker, deeper duets, but it also has a progressive rock vibe similar to Marillion, particularly in the changes between slower, atmospheric sections and more uptempo moments. The dynamic tempo provides another dimension of mystery, allowing listeners to experience the changing expressive dimension. However, the guitar seems to be a bot low in the mix. Increasing its place in the mix might boost the song’s overall strength, although the decision to highlight the vocal harmonies implies that the producer intended to focus on the duet. If so, this is an interesting pick, as the vocal interaction is what gives the tune its distinct character. Overall, “Where Do I Go” is a nice song that combines prog rock elements with darker, emotionally loaded themes. While a few adjustments may improve the production, this is a track that will be interesting to people who value the combination of vocal-driven storytelling.
