Drummer, Songwriter Mark Murdock and the Phoenix Horns To Release ’60s Inspired New Album “Sounds Inc.” and BONUS EP “Songs from the Present Past”

Drummer, songwriter Mark Murdock from Phoenix, Arizona grew up listening to various artists from the 60’s. The songs being aired on the radio eventually came out in his songwriting. “Sounds Inc.” is testimony of that with 10 songs and a free bonus 5 song EP titled: “Songs from the Present Past.”
Says Mark, “There was certainly an attempt to recreate a 60’s sound. I purchased a vintage tambourine from that era on e-Bay for the occasion and the arrangements have a somewhat a recognizable 60’s signature; Motown, Gold-star and Phil Spector, etc… but there are traces from both sides of the water, especially with British vocalist Tim Pepper.”
Leon Alvarado creates the Artwork which is straight out the 60’s. Leon is best known for his work with Brand X, whom Mark has been associated with on his Cymbalic Encounters and solo releases.
