Walter Venniro – Per un minuto (Track Review)

Walter is an Italian rocker with a lot of Alternative Rock and Punk influences from the 1980s; if you are familiar with artists such as Billy Idol and Charlie Sexton, then you are on the same wire! The lyrics are in Italian; however, the music is pure American and pays tribute to the late 1980s and the music that you have probably heard on Miami Vice or other TV series from that period. The audio production also contributes to this by using a lot of reverb effects to give the track that powerful 1980s dreamy tone! The guitar parts are also enjoyable, with some Hard Rock influences present, though there is no actual guitar solo here. On the Mastering level, the track requires some further treatment in order to compete with the other radio-friendly tracks that exist in the market. In general, this is an interesting Punk rock track that brings back a lot of memories from a legendary era.
