Robbin And The Hoods – Hell Raiser (Track Review)
Wow! This killer track reached my stereo and touched my heart since it combines the sounds and eras I am in love with: 1970s Hard Rock and Glam Punk! This is a cool rock ‘n’ roll band with a female vocalist that has more “balls” than other retro-rockers of the modern scene. The raw guitars in combination with the aggressive vocal lines (1980s style) make me think that the band has influences from the legendary Thin Lizzy, The Runaways, and of course, Girlschool. The track is rocking like hell, the guitar riffs rule, and the whole result will blow your mind! On the audio production level, the track needs some treatment in the mix and mastering to make it sound competitive with other tracks of the same style and status. I am looking forward to the next move of the band and, of course, would like to attend them on stage as well!
