Kestrel Palace – Swan Song (Track Review)
This is a groovy Indie Rock/Alternative Rock track in the vein of The Black Keys rock n’ roll tradition: A short, “hit and run” type of track that “hits” you from the first note but then “runs away” soon before you realize what that was! You just overcome the shock by wondering why Playlists on the radio forget these songs and feed your mind with the same songs by the same artists, again and again! On a music production level, the sounds are quite balanced, the audio effects are in place, and it looks very professional by my standards. I have to admit that there is a Pop-direction in some parts (e.g., drums), but you could also perceive it as a “safe path” to release a Punk rock song. As a result, the outcome isn’t so bad and may provide some mainstream potential for the band’s career. Great vibe, guys, keep it up!
