Nobody’s Wolf Child – Big Bad Wolf (Track Review)
The mysterious electronic sounds and the strange vocals are fading into the audio field and prepare you for an almost mystical experience. From the beginning of the track until the 0:54 of the timeline, the dark futuristic synth pays a tribute to the 1970s era of the Tangerine Dream and create a psychedelic atmosphere for the potential listeners. After a couple of seconds, the drum sounds crash into the “dark party” of the Big Bad Wolf and transform the music in an emotional Groovy Electronica anthem, while the female singer “paints” the song with soundwaves of emotion and artistic passion. I can admit that it is hard to categorize this song in terms of music genres, since the orchestration is not focusing on a specific music style but opens the door to a variety of music styles. I could dare to describe it as Progressive Pop due to its evolving nature of time signature changes and the Pop direction of the vocals. It really worth to check it out if you are into the 1990s Electronica and Experimental music as well.
