Ben Blutzukker – Son Of A Gun (Track review)

1 min read

This is a mid-tempo song with heavy guitars in the style of the recent era of Accept and maybe some Cirith Ungol influences in the background. The strong skills of the artist’s musicianship are obvious; every chord and every note is in place for some specific reason, and there are no fillers here from the orchestration’s perspective. Although the vocals create a horror movie-like atmosphere and prepare you for the unexpected cinematic scene, my personal opinion is that they require a little bit of treatment by including more vocal lines in a higher octave as well to represent the cinematic atmosphere of the song. As a traditional metalhead, I would choose this track for a headbanging horror movie night!
