An acoustic, atmospheric track called “Istanbul” is the new romantic song by the artist Scot Free Sessions. The story behind the promotional clip and the lyrics discusses the inner journey of the artist to explore his soul while sitting in a bar in Instanbul. The audio production is OK and the audio mix also sounds professional since I am able to listen to a balanced “image” of the participating musical instruments. The music genre is Folk Blues/acoustic in the style of Bruce Springsteen or Leonard Cohen and it is an easy –listening song (from the mood’s perspective). The listening experience creates a sensation of nostalgia and loneliness for the listener who decides to wear the earphones and follow the storyteller of this track in his personal journey.
