Thailand’s pioneering indie rock band MY LIFE AS ALI THOMAS releases the new album “PEPPERMINT TOWN”

Welcome to Ali’s dreamworld; one that has sprung out of the words and music written on ‘Paper’, their 2016 debut album. ‘Peppermint Town’ is an album that embodies growth – the personal, emotional, and musical growth that come from nearly 4 years of musical and personal highs and lows.
Like on ‘Paper’, the songs on ‘Peppermint Town’ remain deeply introspective, very personal, and emotionally honest. The music and lyrics work together to create mood paintings ranging from deep and dark to light and wistful and even raw and honest vulnerability. The band’s musical complexities are still there, but are now more subtle, wrapped in a sound that approaches almost a pop feel. They’ve expanded from their indie-folk roots to incorporate new sounds from 60s rock to Motown soul and even some more modern electronic influences.
After the band’s showcases at SXSW 2019, there has been keen interest expressed in actively pushing future releases in North America, UK and Australia. Warner Music Thailand will be working actively with partners in those key territories to coordinate promotion of ‘Peppermint Town’ while also continuing to grow My Life as Ali Thomas’s fanbase in Thailand.
