BEHRANG NAMDARI – The Art Of Album Cover

Behrang Namdari is the most famous Iranian graphist who working in music cover album designing. He was born in 1977.He started his professional graphic designing in the field of music at the very young age & he known as creativity graphic designer.
1. We know Behrang Namdari as a famous artist in graphic design and especially in the cover design of music albums, how did you get into this field and what age?
My dad’s job was silk screen printing and he was an art teacher before the revolution. Ever since I opened my eyes to this world, I have been in front of my hands, and calculus has been my passion for art from the beginning. As a guide, I did my dad’s design work and enrolled in Iranian calligraphy classes because of my interest in calligraphy. In high school, I went to a vocational school and got a degree in graphic design, then went on to take an undergraduate degree in Islamic Azad University.
After graduating with a degree in computer graphics, I developed a system and started experimenting with software because there were no classes like today. It took about a year for me to see myself capable of ordering things. I was introduced to a relative in Aviation and Tourism Magazine, and the first thing I did professionally was design a promotional book for the Yearbook of Aviation and Tourism Agencies. By the name of Mehran Negar lithography, I worked in that lithography for about five years, and most of my work was on book cover design, and at the end of that year, I broke away from that lithography and decided to work independently.
On Facebook there were pages for typography of poets such as Hafiz and Saadi and contemporary poets but there was no page for typography of pop songs. I created on Facebook called Feeling Sheets. I started designing from his old songs. The fans were getting more and more enthusiastic about the designs and I got more motivated to do so seriously, because of the friendship I found through my brother Ehsan Khajeh Amiri. Fans of me on Facebook officially decided to pursue a career in graphic arts in music.
2. I think your work is more successful because of your creative designs? Is that right? And please explain to us.
One of the prominent features of a graphic designer is the creativity and power of the idea. My plan is to convey a message to the audience and try to be thoughtful and do something with reason, even if I draw a line, my personal belief is that if you are in the community you will not be seen and need to be seen to be different and a new word for Say you have. And I’ve always tried to be different and work creatively in my designs.

4. Which of the designs did you like more?
Artists are always dependent on the works they create
And I like most of my designs because they make time for them and work with love.
5. Which artist would you like to design for the album cover?
When I started my career in graphic arts in music
My goal was to do some design work for Iranian readers one day
And after 5 years I have been singing abroad of Iran. I did design work like Ebi, Moein, Pouya and Googoosh to the top singers in Iran
6. Who have you enjoyed working with?
It has always been a pleasure for me to work with him since I started working with topography from the lyrics and cover design of the album and Ehsan Khajeh Amiri’s singles …
7. How would you like to end this interview?
Never forget that some of the greatest artists in the world were also amateur one day and started from scratch, but they had a purpose, they wanted and they worked hard to achieve their goal.
