Varhara is an atmospheric metal band from Chicago and just released the self titled EP which features 3 beautiful tracks. The EP was recorded by Nick Morgan and Mike Lust (Urge Overkill, Russian Circles, William Elliott Whitmore, Child Bite) and mixed and mastered by Adam K. Stilson (Airiel, Car Seat Headrest, Ritual Howls, Pink Frost, Radar Eyes). The three tracks of the band share influences between the melodic death metal of My Dying Bride and the modern post rock scene. The mixed influences of the band, create a sad atmosphere which owns a lot of value to the astonishing performance of the musicians. Varhara will be the next big thing for those who are into gothic and melancholic soundscapes.
