Holocaust, An Club, Athens, Greece (Photo Report)

The showcase of the Greek label Sleaszy Rider Records was scheduled for December 2 (Wednesday) 2016 and the event took place in An club Athens, Greece. The fact that it was a working day and the event was planned very shortly before the day of the show, was a factor that affected the ticket sales and there were few people inside the club. However, most of the people remained in the venue until very late that the show was over. Although, it was a mini festival, the focus of the promotion was the NWOBHM legends Holocaust which was the headlining act. Holocaust along with other NWOBHM bands are having a cult fanbase in Greece that supports most of the events that includes band from this era. I would say that Greece is a niche market for all of these bands and they enjoy a short but valuable success for the lifecycle of their commercial presence. Unfortunately my late arrival at the club (remember, it is a working day!) affected this photo report, so I do not have photos from the band Heart Attack that was the first act of the show. Sorry guys!

Italy that were having a really good time that night!
In Utero Cannibalism, true death metal even without a real drummer because the
rest of the members decided to leave the band a few days before the show.
Bravo to the remaining member who took over the vocals and invited guest
members so as to not cancel the live show!
