System of a Down Announce New Tour

System Of A Down has announced dates for a 2015 European tour, including a show at Wembley Arena and the band’s first ever gig in Armenia with a free show on the 100-year anniversary of the Armenian genocide.  The “Wake Up The Souls” tour comes in recognition of that centennial.

Singer Serj Tankian said in a video announcing the tour, “For years we have commemorated by doing a ‘Souls’ show, so we decided to call this tour the ‘Wake Up the Souls’ tour, playing in Armenia for the first time on April 23, the day before the commemoration of the 100th anniversary I think is a big deal.”
