BMG has named Fred Casimir EVP of International Repertoire and will be responsible for recordings released through BMG Artist Services and BMG’s catalog recordings that include Mute Records and Sanctuary Records. Jim Selby, former CEO of Naxos, has been named the first SVP of Digital at rights management company ole. Jorn Haanaes was recently appointed CEO of Soundrop, Dave Shack is the new Managing Director of Phantom Music Management Limited (Iron Maiden’s management company). Freshly minted and financed Lively, a startup that distributes live performances has hired six new executives including Lee Marshall as COO, Pete Moran as VP GLobal Sponsorships, Brad David as VP Channel Development, Zach Varnell as VP Audio Engineering and Production, Dan Horton as SVP Product and Technical Operations and Joshua Batchelder as VP Video Production. David Gray has left Syco and is now SVP Creative Affairs at Universal Music Publishing. Finally, Pete Giberga has joined Lyor Cohen’s new company, 300.
