1 min read

Veteran rocker Rod Stewart takes the No. 1 ranking on the weekly Hot Tours recap with more than $4 million in reported grosses from his third multiple-show run this year at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

His November stand at the 4,000-seat concert venue drew 33,213 fans at nine performances from Nov. 6 through 24.  He also did nine Vegas shows during the first two months of 2013 and seven more in July and August.  Altogether this year, he performed 25 nights at the Colosseum with ticket sales totaling $11.6 million.  Since his first run of shows at the Caesars Palace venue three years ago, he has played a total of 68 concerts with box office grosses topping $34 million.

Stewart’s touring efforts in 2013 were centered primarily in European markets from June through early October, but his Live the Life tour also included a string of North American arena dates during the fall that were originally scheduled for April, but postponed until October and December.  His tour is set to wrap for the year this coming weekend with a final show on Dec. 15 in Toronto.
