Pop Punk Sensation The Early Strike Raises Over $15,000 For Cancer Foundation

The Early Strike is no ordinary DIY Band! In a climate of dog eat dog and every man for himself that runs rampant in the music industry, The Early Strike has taken another philosophy. They have decided to give back to a cause greater than themselves. They have given their audiences great shows, their fans great videos, their devotees a wonderful album and their critics something to think about. But most of all they have decided to give Pediatric and Sarcoma cancer funds over $15,000 this year.

Since 2006, The Early Strike has helped fund their tours and merchandise through E-Bay. This experience they brought to the office of Unite the United and it’s founder Laura Murphy. After The Van’s Warped tour was finished many organizations and bands donated merchandise and materials for auction, and together the two have helped raise money for pediatric cancer research.

This year alone because of the work The Early Strike ( Ryan Shaw and Brit Uncles) did with Kevin Lyman (Warped Tour) and Laura Murphy (Unite The United) a total of $5,000 was sent to The Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and $9,000 was raised for Sarcoma research earlier in the year with additional benefit shows. The Early Strike, Unite the United and Van’s Warped tour would like to see Childhood Sarcoma Cancer cured in the near future. No child should have to suffer because of cancer.

The Early Strike’s Album ‘Ten Outta Ten’ is available for digital purchase on iTunes, and the official street release date is slated for February 15, 2011. Partial proceeds from all downloads and album sales will be be donate to Pediatric Cancer research.
