Forming in 2013 with childhood friends Jordan White and Brian Dellis, Phoenix, AZ’s modern rock band Jane N’ The Jungle puts on a strong performance with their single “GTFO.” Dramatic, powerful rock riffs and a strong female vocals with a Lzzy Hale-esque flair open the song. The song’s bridge sets up the vocalist brilliantly for the chorus, where her strong and beautiful voice really comes through. The guitar riffs have a post-hardcore vibe between 1:00 and 1:10, which reminds me of the technical mayhem from Earth Crisis in the early 2000s. The strong and chaotic energy produced by these riffs is fascinating and inspiring. The guitar solo that lasts from 1:59 to 2:09 shows the band’s talent at integrating various rock components together and brings up a nice Guns N’ Roses vibe. This solo highlights the band’s diversity and musical ability and adds another broad terms to this track. With its catchy chords and strong vocal delivery, “GTFO” is a multi-layered, dynamic tune that would work well in adventure films. Jane N’ The Jungle has created a song that is a remarkable addition to the current rock genre since it is both technically and emotionally effective.
