1 min read

Tobias Isaksson’s Stockholm-based band Azure Blue takes its name from Dennis Wilson’s “Pacific Ocean Blue,” and their song “Three Times The Drama” reflects this respect while creating its own unique personality. The song grabs your attention right away with a danceable beat that’s reminiscent of Kraftwerk and a nostalgic vibe from 1980s production. The combination of nostalgic elements creates the ideal setting for a trip through an atmosphere with lot of depth. At the 0:19 mark, the entrance of Isaksson’s melodic vocals shifts the track into an uptempo, dream pop territory. The track enters an uptempo, dream pop realm at 0:19 when Isaksson’s melodic vocals come in. The vocals recall the spirit of the mid-1980s New Romantics time as they mix perfectly with the musical components. The dreamy vibe of the tune is primarily generated by the synthesizers. Their ethereal tone enhances the cheerful atmosphere and produces an interesting experience that connects with listeners. The track’s goal of entertaining and raising the spirit is achieved by the careful design of the production, where each element plays a crucial role. It’s an original piece that encourages listeners to lose themselves in its colorful, dreamlike universe thanks to its infectious vibe and attractive soundtrack.
