SCHEITAN ANNOUNCE FIRST EVER LIVE SHOW IN 24 YEARS AT TEMPLE ATHENS
The resurrected Swedish gothic rock band SCHEITAN is announcing their first ever show in 24 years since their performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig in 2000. The show will be performed at the classic club Temple in the heart of Athens, Greece and is scheduled for saturday 15h of June. The show will follow the release of the new album “Songs for the gothic people” which will be out in May by greek underground label The Circle Music.
Guitarplayer, multiinstrumentalist & vocalist Pierre Törnkvist comments.
– This is another important step in bringing Scheitan back to life after a long time in hiatus. We will perform the new album in it´s entirety at the Temple club. A classic, landmark place in the greek music scene and the perfect place for doing this comeback.
– I am very much looking forward to doing this show and getting Scheitan going for real also in the sense of playing live shows. The Temple has been a place for many great musicians to perform at so it feels really honourable to make this the place of Scheitan´s restart.
