TAFKAVince Band: Glam rock from another planet!
The band TAFKAVince plays Glam Punk Rock ‘n’ Roll. Chicago-based quintet blends guitar-driven tracks with elements of both contemporary and vintage punk and rock. Sparkling with elegance and brilliance, the tunes are driven by evocative lyrics.
The TAFKAVince Band has shared the stage with and performed well alongside a number of well-known indie underground acts, including Scott Lucas and the Married Men, Prima Donna, The Fleshtones, Hunx & His Punx, The Undead featuring Bobby Steele of The Misfits, and many more.
On Friday, May 26, the Artist Previously Known as Vince Band will release the limited edition CD and digital version of their six-track album A Problematic Opera. A run of 200 10″ vinyl records will also be released. The album features guest performances by Brian Smith, Joe Vitti, Yoko Schmadeke, and Maureen Grady. Tony SanFilippo & TAFKAVince Band produced the album, which was then mixed and recorded at Oxide Lounge in Bloomington, IL, and mastered by Carl Saff at Saff Mastering. Darrick Elia provided the design and artwork for the album.
