New EP by The Finite Beings, blending classic and contemporary genres creating a unique rock sound

2 min read

The emergence of the faith-driven alt/rock band from New Jersey, The Finite Beings, and their much awaited full-length album, “A Life to Come Renewed,” brought a new vigor to the music world. The band has created something absolutely unusual for today’s listeners by fusing the powerful spirit of the classic music genre with its distinctive conscious style.

A pandemic that hit the world soon after the album’s release forced musicians to turn inside for inspiration and put a stop to live performances. Michael Nicholas, the band’s lead singer and current drummer, made a significant connection to the idea that if we come together and refuse to give in to fear, we can overcome these obstacles and look forward to better days. The band’s moving hit, “The Virus,” was born out of this introspective trip.

The Shade, a rock anthem that deftly blended themes reminiscent of Alice In Chains and other courageous bands from the 1990s, followed suit and became their hallmark melancholy tune. A moving song called “Hope Is Sleeping In Grace’s Arms” exhorts listeners to take comfort in God’s peace, which endures all difficulties, difficulties, and trials that life may bring.

The Finite Beings are now committed to spreading the word about their brand-new EP, “A Shell OF What Could Be,” an album that sheds a bright light on both their superb musicianship and the extraordinary faith that permeates every song.

Hunter Kino and Donny DePaola each contribute beautiful, compelling guitar playing, which adds to the group’s edgy, sincere, and frequently extremely sensitive approach to songwriting. Their songs have a similar feel to well-known alternative rock classics.

Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in The Finite Beings’ enthralling musical voyage with the release of A Shell Of What Could Be, which is now streaming on all major platforms.
