Cutting Edge Industrial Visionaries DK-ZERO Release A Twisted Love Song For Valentine’s Day, Their First Single Of 2023!

1 min read

Modern industrial outfit DK-Zero are as known for their explicit, occasionally shocking but always insightful, references to sex and lust, as they are known for their incredibly adventurous genre-blending sound. Both aspects of the band come together in a spectacular way on their first single of the new year, the hyper-kinetic “Nightmare,” which is released today on all digital platforms. The song is, at its heart, a twisted love song for the cyber age, one that celebrates the special kind of visceral, carnal passion of colliding opposites – in other words, the perfect DK-Zero Valentine’s Day song!

Vocalist and bandleader D-Punk kicks off the track with a sinister Rob Zombie-esque verse before the song jumps into high gear with D-Punk’s vocals going from a whisper to a scream and everything in between. Meanwhile the elaborately produced backing track feels barely contained, as if it might explode or collapse at any moment, and it’s a stunning achievement that the song not only coheres but embeds itself in the listener’s conscious mind. The band also teams once again with Industrialism Films to create an equally mesmerizing video to accompany the track.
