Snakedoctors – Destroyed (Track Review)
In May 2020, four friends from Gdansk, Poland, formed the band Snakedoctors. Since then, they have published four albums and twenty singles, including a Christmas single and a song in Czech titled Jiri Blaha & Framuga Boys. Songs from Snakedoctors are played on the radio in numerous nations across four continents. The same may be said about the reviews their albums and singles receive. The album’s lead single, “Destroyed,” is a new rendition of one of their previous tracks. On “Destroyed,” the band continues to produce music at an impressive rate while always providing an engaging sound that lives up to the buzz around them. The track adopts a Heavy Rock direction with raw guitars, angry vocals, and an orchestration inspired by the post-Grunge era. The song, which features Bush drummer Nik Hughes, is successful in evoking memories of the 1990s and 2000s while also delivering “life coach” lessons through its socially charged lyrics that discuss the struggles we all face on a daily basis and our inner demons. If you feel destroyed, then here is your soundtrack!
