Pattern Primitive – I know your thoughts (Track Review)
As you plunge into sonic lunacy, Pattern Primitive creates a mesmerising and meditative ambient, a calming cure made of lo-fi noise particles, melancholy memories floating in the air, and sweet melodic breaths stroking the back of your neck. The track is inspired by music genres such as Krautrock, Electronica and Experimental Music, leading to a psychedelic track based on lo-fi beats, minimalism, and psychedelic rock (from the music production perspective). Regarding musical references, I would describe it as a mix between Depeche Mode and Air due to the Electro sounds and the melodic, fuzzy vocals. Overall, the track sounds cool, and the orchestration boosts the mysterious, post-apocalyptic vibe of their music. On the vocals section, I would add more effects rather than the basic autotune effect in order to create a variety of sounds for the listener and technically augment the duration of the song by including as many audio elements as possible in the same track. I am looking forward to the next track of the band!
