Paul Cardall – September Winds (Track Review)

Musician, songwriter, and producer with a Dove Award, He frequently has his music labelled as Classical, Christian, and New Age. 30 million monthly listeners, 3 million social media subscribers, and 11 No. 1 Billboard albums. Paul is one of the most-listened-to musicians of all time, with 3 billion streams of his music across all platforms. “September Winds” is an instrumental track with a cinematic cultural identity due to its dreamy tone, melody, and romantic atmosphere. On an orchestration level, the track consists of piano (which is the main instrument) and additional sounds from violin and synth pads that pave the way for the main piano melody, which is just astonishing! The musical inspiration derives from classical pianists such as Ludovico Einaudi and Yiruma, and there are also some New Age/Ambient influences due to the heavy usage of synth pads inside the track. I consider this piece, a beautiful escape from the modern world and a journey to a romantic, musical fantasy!
