Doorshan – Only Shame (Track Review)

Doorshan is a group from Rouen that was established at the end of 2010 and fully embraces contemporary music. Doorshan is (finally) making a stage comeback and also has a new line-up today, which includes Burnie on vocals and guitar and Sebb on guitar. On this track, the band unleashes a ton of energy and electricity with the powerful musical “wall of sound” and the lovely artistic antithesis of female versus male vocals. On musical level, the basic recipe for the creation of this track is Industrial Rock with a lot of 1990s influences, including Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson and mainly KMFDM. The orchestration paves the way for the successful mix of Punk attitude and Metal guitar riffs, combined and delivered in a “Pop package” due to the audio mix and the production in the studio. This fact makes the result radio-friendly and cinema-friendly as well!
