Los Angeles, CA – Just in time to bring joy and jubilation to the dark hearts of goths around the globe, the deluxe reissue of Big Electric Cat’s superb debut album, 1994’s Dreams Of A Mad King, is finally hitting the shelves. Taking their name from Philip K Dick’s classic sci-fi novel Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep, Big Electric Cat formed in Australia and quickly became one of the most talked about bands in the dark rock scene. A deal with Cleopatra Records, who released the debut album as well as the subsequent EP Burning Embers, brought the band to an international stage.
Now this highly acclaimed goth rock milestone is getting the deluxe reissue treatment! The CD version, which featured completely remastered audio and all new artwork, was released last year, but due to manufacturing and shipping delays, the vinyl version has only recently become available for purchase.
