Eddy Nikey – Brave New World (Track Review)
Pop/Rock performer Eddy Nikey draws on his original compositions and sounds from the 1980s while incorporating modern contexts and influences. The track “Brave New World” includes the typical 1980s musical elements that I really love: Outstanding production, echo effects on the sound to make it a dreamy one, and a great saxophone solo, which was the “trademark musical instrument” during the 1980s. The composition is mid-tempo, almost a ballad, and very atmospheric in the music style of artists such as Sting, Icehouse, and Tony Carey. If you are familiar with the soundtrack of the TV series “Miami Vice” then probably you already know what to expect for. In general, this is a cool track, perfect to “paint musically” your Saturday night drive and feed your mind with beautiful images.
