Lindsay Waddington – A Magical Christmas (Track review)
Despite the track’s title, “Magical Christmas,” the orchestration of this song is slightly distancing from the typical happy Xmas vibe with Santa Claus coming into town! On the contrary, this could be the soundtrack of a scene from a major 1970s movie filmed somewhere on the beaches of Miami with rich personas wearing black glasses and drinking cocktails. From a genre perspective, I am listening to 1960s Surf music/Blues and 1970s Soul music, while in the background there are some Xmas bell sounds that remind me of the Christmas mood.
