Hip Hop icons Cheryl James (Salt) & Sandra Denton (Pepa) – collectively known as Salt-N-Pepa – revisit the massive hit that defined their career and redefined mainstream rap music, “Push It!” From the track’s opening notes and that iconic breath sample, “Push It” grabbed audience’s attention upon its release first as a B-side in 1987 then the next year as an A-side, which promptly sent the song rocketing up the charts to the #2 spot on Billboard.
