THE HOLLYWOOD STARS END AFFILIATION WITH BURGER RECORDS

In spring 2019, The Hollywood Stars entered into an agreement with Burger Records to distribute our Sound City CD. As announced earlier this month, Burger was also on board to distribute our first live album, Live on the Sunset Strip, which was to be released October 31, 2020. After learning of yesterday’s accusations against Burger, the band has decided to end our affiliation with the label. We feel that it’s important to state that while we were booked to perform at Burgerama on March 14 and the Burger Boogaloo on July 11—which were to be our first label-affiliated live appearances—both events were postponed due to Covid. Like the majority of Americans, The Hollywood Stars have spent the past several months staying close to our loved ones, and looking forward to better days. We wish all of our fans the best, and look forward to playing live for you again when conditions have improved.
