H.E.A.T – Feel The Hard Rock Heat!

  1. How did you decide to record a live album, do you feel that it was the right time to do it?

There’s been a demand from our fans for a long time to release a live DVD and since Sweden Rock is the optimal venue to record a show, we decided to give a try.
  2. Where and when did you record the album?

At Sweden Rock Festival last year (2018).
  3. How did you approach the live album from a production perspective, any studio overdubs used?

Basically everything is live. Of course we’ve made some adjustments when mixing to make it sound even better but the vocals are 100% live.
  4. Do you prefer studio recordings or live recordings and why?

I prefer playing live because I’m an adrenaline junkie.
  5. Is touring the main driving force behind the funding of the modern music industry?

For artists, pretty much but it of course depends on your level of success.
  6. How do you adjust yourself to the current business model of the music industry?

You just adapt or die according to true Darwinism.
  7. Which is your next studio move after the album “Into The Great Unknown’?

We are already recording a new album which will be released early 2020. First single will be out this fall.
  8. Is Per Erik Magnus Grönwall preparing any solo material as well?

Not at the moment. He’s currently busy building other careers as a manager at Hagenburg.
  9. In December 2009, Eric won the Swedish Idol television competition. What is your opinion about the TV shows such as “Idol” or other TV series relevant to music contests?

I think it’s great as long as you have a plan on how to build after the show is over. That’s when the real challenge starts.
  10. What is the current situation for hard rock music in Sweden, is this music genre still popular?

Pretty much but I would say it’s pretty much the same all over Europe.
