Slowness – Berths (Schoolkid Records)
The new album of the band Slowness sounds like a trip to the time frame of the 1970s progressive rock with additional modern influences from the scene of Shoegaze. Musically, this is not a complex and difficult album, however the atmosphere of the album is the competitive advantage of the band. Get prepared to hear hypnotic guitar riffs, reverb-ish sound and dreamy vocals that will keep your body relaxed and your mind focused. The closest musical reference to the sound experience of this album, is the early sound of the Pink Floyd. If Syd Barett was alive, he would probably smile upon hearing this great music.
