80s Band STRIKEFORCE Gearing Up For Next Release

Midwest Grammy nominated hard rock artist STRIKEFORCE is gearing up for their 2nd HighVolMusic release titled ‘Incoming’. Their career spanning some 30 years, STRIKEFORCE made their debut in 1984 and broke in the year 1989 through the rock anthem single ‘Fast As Lightning’. KSHE 95 FM in St. Louis, MO was the first FM station in the U.S. to break the song which resulted in a domino effect with more FM stations across the U.S. spinning the track. STRIKEFORCE jumped out on support tours with Joan Jett, Britny Fox, Blue Oyster Cult,  Accept, and 38 Special that same year.

STRIKEFORCE has continued to release music over the years with their most recent project ‘Elegant Steel’ issued on HighVolMusic in 2015. ‘Elegant Steel’ received solid reviews, has been played on radio worldwide with the track ‘All About The Money’ ranking #35 of the Top 45 Classic Rock/Mainstream Rock Songs on Hard Rock Daddy, and is nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album of 2015. “Although not expected to win of course, it is an honor just to be nominated” says SF founder Duke Jackson.

The current line up of STRIKEFORCE consists of Duke Jackson lead guitar/vocals, Jimmy Burdette – drums, and Dave Rader – bass. ‘Incoming’ is slated for a February 2017 release and will resurrect some tunes from the past as well as new tracks including a cover of the Uriah Heep hit ‘Easy Livin’. STRIKEFORCE will kick off their 2017 on February 11th at the Viper Room in Hollywood, CA at the Pre Grammy Rockfest.
