Liberty N Justice releases a new album
The upcoming releases ‘Life Songs’ and ‘Better Than Maroon 5’ are next albums since LNJ transformed from a project to full-fledged band. Founder Justin Murr is joined on this new record with Larry Worley formerly of Fear Not, Brent Stortzum, and JK Northrup.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Let’s turn back the clock to 1992, the year Justin Murr and original lead singer Patrick Marchand released the first LIBERTY N’ JUSTICE album, ‘Armed with the Cross’. Along the way, “the little band that can” released 13 albums worldwide. After Marchand left the group, Murr developed LIBERTY N’ JUSTICE into an “all-star” project in 2004 with the release of ‘Welcome to the Revolution’. For the last eight years, LNJ’s records have become a who’s who in rock music, featuring guest appearances by:
Lou Gramm (Foreigner) Phil Collen (Def Leppard) Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) Kerry Livgren (Kansas) Chris Jericho (Fozzy and WWE Wrestler) George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Oni Logan (Dokken/Lynch Mob) Jani Lane, Jerry Dixon and Robert Mason (Warrant) Michael Sweet, Oz Fox, and Tim Gaines (Stryper), Stephen Pearcey (RATT), Kip Winger (Winger), Jeff Labar (Cinderella), CJ Snare and Bill Leverty (Firehouse), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N’ Roses), Jack Russell, Mark Kendall, and Terry Ilous (Great White), Gunnar Nelson (Nelson), Pete Loran and Steve Brown (Trixter), Mark Slaughter (Slaughter), Phil Lewis (L.A. Guns), Marq Torien (BulletBoys), Ryche Green (Outlaws & Moonshine), Tony Harnell (Skid Row/TNT), Tony Mills (TNT/Shy), Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister), Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Dug Pinnick (Kings X), John Schlitt and Greg X. Volz (Petra), John Corabi (Motley Crue/RATT/Union), Ted Poley (Danger Danger), Donnie Vie (Enuff z’Nuff), Ron Keel (Keel), Stevie Rachelle (TUFF), Carmine Appice, Paul Shortino and David Henzerling (King Kobra), Joshua Perahia (Joshua), Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper), Mitch Malloy, Chris Holmes (WASP), Lynn Louise Lowrey (Vixen), Alex Grossi (Quiet Riot), Jamie Rowe and Tony Palacios (Guardian), Dale and Troy Thompson (Bride), Scott Wenzel (White Cross), Les Carlson (Bloodgood), Bob Carlisle (Butterfly Kisses fame), James Christian (House Of Lords), Doug Phelps and Greg Martin (Kentucky Headhunters), Harry Hess and Pete Lesperance (Harem Scarem), Barry Graul (Mercy Me), Leif Garrett (70’s teen idol).
The “melodic rockers with a message” continue pushing forward with the LIBERTY N’ JUSTICE trademark sound: big guitars, big hooks, and great vocals.
