Universal Music Buys The Twisted Sister Catalogue
Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider has agreed a worldwide deal with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), which sees the firm acquire his Snidest Music publishing catalogue of 69 songs.
The catalogue includes Twisted Sister songs such as We’re Not Gonna Take It and I Wanna Rock. UMPG previously administered the copyrights in the US and Canada.
The songs in the catalog have been featured in numerous national commercials, films, television and the Broadway musical, Rock of Ages, which currently has residency at the Venetian Las Vegas.
