Dead City Records digitally re-releases first four Backfire! albums


Dead City Records is proud to announce the digital re-release of four classic albums from European hardcore act, Backfire!. The band’s first four releases, Who Told You Life Is Easy, Rebel 4 Life, All Bets Are Off and Choose My Own Path, can all be purchased on iTunes via the following links:
Who Told You Life Is Easy (1995): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/who-told-you-life-is-easy/id1043977358 – The first 7″ released by Backfire!. The CD version contained bonus songs professionally recorded at one of their early European live shows. Features a live cover of Agnostic Front’s “With Time” sung by special guest, Freddy Madball.

Rebel 4 Life (1996): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/rebel-4-life/id1043948041 – Debut full length release by Backfire!

All Bets Are Off (1997): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/all-bets-are-off/id1043989797 – Second full length release featuring 14 songs of powerful hardcore. All Bets Are Off took Backfire! from playing club shows to headlining huge festivals.

Choose My Own Path (1998): https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/choose-my-own-path-ep/id1043985034 – This EP features one original hardcore song titled “Choose My Own Path” and cover songs of the bands Warzone, Side By Side, Cro-Mags, and Slayer. The final song “Robbie” is an original song that was a CD hidden track showing the band’s sense of humor.

Backfire! formed in the Netherlands in 1994 and by the end of the decade was considered one of the biggest bands to exist in the European hardcore scene. The group has toured extensively throughout Europe with the likes of Warzone, Madball, Agnostic Front, Right Direction and more. Backfire! is still going strong, currently in the studio recording a new album titled Where We Belong to be released in early 2016 on Strength Records.
