Prog-Influenced Rockers THE SIXXIS Reveal New Track “Nowhere Close” via REVOLVER

2 min read

Progressive-influenced hard rock group THE SIXXIS will digitally release their new album Hollow Shrine via Glassville Records on May 1, 2015. The album is produced by three-time Grammy winning producer David Bottrill at Goodwood Sound Studios. Today, the band is revealing the track “Nowhere Close” via REVOLVER Magazine. Stream the track video lyric video here: http://www.revolvermag.com/?p=73077

THE SIXXIS, the brainchild of lead singer Vladdy Iskhakov, exhibit a wide range of musical influences ranging from classic, jazz and rock music coated in a powerful, heavy shell of sound reminiscent of artists ranging between Rush, Muse, Soundgarden, System of a Down, Kings X and Alice In Chains. The combination of haunting melodies, soaring vocal harmonies, distorted guitars, and a truly ‘powerhouse’ rhythm section of drums and bass make THE SIXXIS’ sound unique and unforgettable!
