Bobby Borg – Music Marketing for the DIY Musician: Creating and Executing a Plan of Attack on a Low Budget (Hal Leonard Books)

1 min read

This is a DIY Music Marketing guide about how an independent musician is able to manage the business side of his music. While the written language is simple, the writing style does not underestimate the academic and business value of this book. Actually it manages to describe the most important aspects of the music industry from the artist’s side and adjusts the content of the book to the real needs of the artists and the music industry. However, the is some academic terminology, such as SWOT analysis, that will offer additional knowledge to the musicians that from times to times deal with managers or other business oriented staff. At last but not least, this is not a 1000+… pages book full of trashy information but it is only 368 pages with straight forward information and you can start reading and finish it in a logical time period.
