The latest music industry personnel changes
Interscope Geffen A&M Records has announced the appointment of Aaron Bay-Schuck as President, A&R. He will be based in LA and report to Chairman and CEO John Janick. Anne Cecere, BMI’s Director of Film & TV Relations, has been elected President of the California Copyright Conference (CCC), for the 2014–2015 term. Cecere takes the helm as the youngest president in the CCC’s 61-year history, taking over from her predecessor, Warner/Chappell Music Vice President, Jeremy Blietz. Ryan McWhinnie is Merlin‘s new Director of Legal and Business Affairs. McWhinnie was previously at media law firm Harbottle & Lewis. Debra Krizman has left her position as VP of Operations at the Production Music Association (PMA) and for the next several months will be consulting on a new program for high school music students for the International House of Blues Foundation. Pat Higdon‘s Patrick Joseph Music has promoted Stevie Erickson to the role of Sr. Creative Director and Christina Wiltshire has been hired as Creative Assistant. SFX Entertainment has named Liz Miller as VP of Artists and Labels. Miller was previously General Manager of Big Beat Records. Pandora has named Jason Feinberg Head of Artist Marketing which is a new position. Feinberg was previously Head of Digital Marketing and Strategy at Epitaph/ANTI- Records. Republic Records has hired VH1 veteran Rick Krim for the newly created position of Executive Vice President of Artist Development. David Solomon is Tidal‘s new U.S. National Sales and Marketing Manager. Tidal is WiMP‘s new streaming service for the U.S. and the U.K. Lise Regan has joined Dean St. Studios in Soho as Studio Manager and Marsha Vlasic has been announced as Artist Group International‘s new President. Ten Ten Music Group has named Nathan Nicholson to lead their creative department as VP, Creative and finally, renowned soundtrack label Mondo has announced it has acquired UK soundtrack specialist Death Waltz Recording Company.
