Antonis Vardis (ex-The Vickings) passes away
Antonis Vardis the famous Greek composer who was born on 7 August 1948 in Athens , passed away after losing the battle with cancer on September, 2nd in the hospital Ygeia in Athens, Attica.
At the end of 1965 Antonis Vardis at age 17 with his friends created the rock band “VICKINGS”. The most popular songs from The Vickings were : “Fransoas” and “Caterin” and were composed by Anthony Stefanidis and Antonis Vardis.
