Collective Soul Announces 9th Studio Album Celebrating The Band’s 20th Anniversary

Platinum selling rock band Collective Soul announced they will be releasing their anticipated 9th studio album titled See What You Started By Continuing in summer 2014 as part of the band’s 20th anniversary (#CSoul20). 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of Collective Soul. The band released Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid in 1994 as their first studio album that included the rock anthem “Shine” that shot to international recognition and double-platinum status. 20 years later the band has released seven #1 radio hits and sold more than 10 million albums across the world.

The long awaited 9th studio album See What You Started By Continuing fully embodies the journey that Collective Soul has taken musically and personally throughout the last two decades. “As a band we have experienced and developed so much as musicians and people in the last twenty years,” commented Collective Soul frontman, Ed Roland. “This album represents a full circle, coming back to the roots of Collective Soul, and continuing to build on the music that we started making from the beginning.” See What You Started By Continuing will be released in summer of 2014 followed by an extensive tour.

Preceding the release, Collective Soul will be heading out on the road spring 2014 with eleven concert dates across Canada. The tour kicks off on April 1 at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo, British Columbia and continues through April 15 at the Thunder Bay Auditorium in Ontario following several North American concert dates in February and March.

After 13 years as lead guitarist with Collective Soul, Joel Kosche has moved on to new musical endeavors. The 2014 spring tour dates officially welcome new lead guitarist Jesse Triplett to the band. Jesse made his debut as a touring member of Collective Soul at the Belly Up in Aspen, Colorado in January of this year. When on the road Jesse enjoys writing songs, learning other languages, reading music biographies and listening to old Beatles records.
